Camp W+F 2026 - Tent Camping
Join us for Camp Wild + Free 2026! This event is being held at A.H. Stephens State Park at the Group Camping site from Friday, April 24 through Sunday, April 26, 2026.
Enjoy a camping experience with all of your homeschool friends in the great outdoors! Pitch your own tent on the premesis and enjoy a primitive camping experience!
Enjoy food with your fellow homeschoolers in the dining hall, and use the industrial sized kitchen to whip up your meals.
Enjoy recreational activities and classes taught by fellow homeschool parents - or maybe even teach a class yourself! Interested in art? Handicrafts? Survival skills? Host a workshop! There will be scheduled hikes, water fun on our private lake beach, a sports/ field game tournament, and more.
We will be hosting both an outdoor movie night (Friday) and a talent show night (Saturday) by the lake.
Click the “Let’s Do This” button, fill out the questions on the form, and then head to “Cart” (upper right hand corner) and check out.
TENT CAMPING DETAILS: The $40 allows you to camp on the premises of the Group Camp. However, please be advised that this is RUSTIC CAMPING. There is no electricity available. You will need to provide your own tent and other camping gear (sleeping bags, tents, towels, etc.)
There is one shower house with toilets available that will be used communally among the other families tent camping.
The ground on which the tents will be staked is uneven (it is a forested area), so we highly recommend bringing blow up mattresses or camping mattresses to sleep on underneath your sleeping bag.
There are no individual campfire pits, so plan to make use of the kitchen to whip up any meals that need to be cooked. No meals are provided - you must bring your own. A refrigerator and freezer are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cell phone service can be spotty in the campgrounds. However, a short drive down the road will provide you with service if you need it.
It probably goes without saying, but definitely BRING YOUR HUBBIES! It is a full family event. We will have a few things on our schedule just for the homeschool Dads, so bring them along!
No pets are allowed on site, unless you have a service dog.
This registration includes up to two (2) parking passes.
**Once purchased, refunds will not be possible, so please check your calendars carefully!**
